Fun Facts: Blatterle is an early-ripening grape variety with small leaves and grapes that are golden yellow, flat and thin-skinned. It has a long history in the area, but over the last few centuries it's cultivation has declined to the point of extinction. In fact, only 1.5 hectares are currently planted between three producers and the Mayrs are the biggest Blatterle producer IN THE WORLD. They are only the only producers to vinify it on its own.
