Winemaking Information
The Lagrein is destemmed, fermented with native yeasts and macerated for four weeks in stainless steel. The wine is aged in French oak botti for two years, followed by at least two years in bottle before release. A small amount of S02 is added roughly six months after the grapes finish fermenting and at bottling.

Fun Facts: Lagrein is a native grape to the area, dating back at least 600 years. DOC law allows for a riserva to be sold three years after the harvest at the earliest. The Mayrs age it an extra year.
