Winemaking Information
The grapes are fermented semi-carbonically in concrete vats, then moved to a gorgeous, old-school manual press, where the process is intentionally slow and delicate. The juices are then racked to old Burgundian barrels for élevage.

Fun Facts: Bella Ciao is a one-off bottling in 2017. After a terrible hail storm, Julie was obliged to use whatever Fleurie fruit she had left into a single bottling. The name refers to the famous anti-fascist Italian anthem.
