Fun Facts: This wine is a one-off from the 2017 vintage. After a terrible hail storm, Julie was forced to blend her Moulin-à-Vent (usually dubbed Docteur Buchaille) and her Beaujolais into a VDF. The name is a joke on the wine being anything else but ordinary, but also a direct reference to the wine bar in Oakland. The label is almost identical to the Beaujolais one, save for the fact that the middle head is Keven Clancy's, friend of Julie's and the owner of our California distributor Farm Wine Imports. There is also a depiction of Ordinaire owner Bradford Taylor's whale tattoo on the bottom right.
