Farming: Biodynamic (certified)
Fun Facts: From the hills of Gavi, planted in iron-rich, heavy, red clay. It was denied the appellation in 2015 due to color (the vast majority of Gavis are heavily filtered and a pale straw color). This forced Stefano to alter the name (see what he did?) and also made him decide to no longer seek the appellation for any of his wines.
